Your Next Career Move Shouldn't Be a Guess. Make It a Sure Thing.

We’re looking for smart, successful, experienced professionals from inside the industry and out who want more than a job. Here’s the full path, from your first day to the courtroom.

Openings move fast in a firm this size.

The right seat won’t stay open long; see what’s available now.

The Career Ladder

This is what advancement actually looks like here, not a vague “growth opportunity” promise, but a visible sequence:

01
Field Technician / Survey Crew:

Learn instrumentation, site fundamentals, and how evidence is actually gathered; the foundation everything else is built on.

02
Party Chief / Field Lead:

Run crews, manage site logistics, and start making the judgment calls that separate technicians from professionals.

03
Licensure Track (SIT → PLS):

Structured mentorship and field hours toward your state exam and Professional Land Surveyor license.

04
Specialist:

Choose a lane: expert witness, high-rise construction, flood certification, or geospatial technology, and go deep.

05
Expert Witness / Firm Leadership:

Courtroom authority, premium consulting rates, and for the right people, a path toward ownership.

The Career Ladder

The Work: High-Profile, Not Routine

We don’t chase routine residential surveys; we’re known for the projects that require real expertise:

Control Surveys scaled 1

Boundary Disputes & Expert Witness Projects

Untangling decades-old property conflicts, then translating that field evidence into sworn courtroom testimony for attorneys, insurance companies, and municipalities. Some of the highest-value work in the profession.

Franchise, Distillery & Liquor License Sites

Commercial site planning where a single measurement error can delay a license or a launch. National franchise brands, breweries, and hospitality operators depend on getting this exactly right, the first time.

High-Rise Construction & Flood Certification

Layout and monitoring on some of the tallest builds in New York City, plus FEMA flood and elevation certification work: specialized, consistently in-demand, and financially consequential for the clients who rely on it.

The Expert Witness Path: From the Field to the Witness Stand

The top of the ladder. Work directly with attorneys, insurance companies, and courts, turning field evidence into sworn testimony that holds up under cross-examination.

Our team has provided expert testimony across New York State Supreme Court, Bronx, Kings, Queens, and Nassau County courts, and numerous zoning and planning boards, with a featured profile and published articles in Attorney at Law Magazine.

“Often, as peers note, he goes way beyond the reasonable doubt that others might have.”

Common Hesitations, Answered

“I have zero experience in surveying.”

No. AI can speed up drafting and data processing, but licensure law requires a human professional to perform, seal, and take legal responsibility for a survey, and to testify to it in court if challenged.

A large portion of the licensed workforce is nearing retirement age, and the number of new entrants hasn’t kept pace, a gap that’s driving up demand, wages, and opportunity for people entering the field now.

You don’t need to know yet. Most people figure that out in their first year of fieldwork; we’ll help you find it.

It scales with role and licensure. Entry-level fieldwork starts one way, and pay rises meaningfully as you move toward licensure and specialized tracks like expert witness work. We’ll give you a straight, honest number for a given role during your first conversation, rather than a generic range here.

Our core fieldwork covers New York City and Long Island, so most roles are local to that area, but we’re open to talking with strong candidates willing to relocate for the right fit.

The career security you're looking for starts with one application.
